Supplies for painting for the dark

Special pigmented paint is available to let us paint in the dark. More accurately, it lets us paint things that can be seen in the dark. Some of these paints will have a phosphorescent glow that comes after they have been exposed to bright light. Some of the paints will only reveal their special glow if exposed to UV black lights. We can use these paints for any painting to add an interesting effect. We can also create plant markers or other markers for closets or dark spaces to let us see the labels when the lighting is dim.

Glow in the Dark Paint 8 Set 20 mL

This Individuall brand glow in the dark paint is a set of 8 reflective acrylic paints. This is for both indoor and outdoor use. This paint will work well on canvas, walls, or ornaments. The bright neon pigments will shine brightly all night long after they have been exposed to several hours of light. We will want to apply at least two coats in order to achieve the brightest glow.

Pigment Extreme Glow in the Dark 4 Colors

This is a four color set of self-luminous pigments. This comes in orange, yellow, blue, and orange-yellow. These are designed to be mixed with paints to be applied to surfaces. The best results are obtained when they are mixed with clear paint or binder. The ratio of mix is 1 part pigment to two parts paint. If we want to mix these with colored paint, we can use more pigment.

Self-Luminous Neon Paints, Dark 8 Set

This is an 8 color set of luminous neon paints. These will glow in the dark and include, blue, red, green, yellow, pink, orange, white, and purple. Once fully charged with light these colors will shine brightly in the dark for hours. They are also strong enough to display a neon glow in the daylight.

Using the neon and glowing paints on canvas or walls is one great idea, but using them with these craft sticks can let us create markers for plants or other reasons.
