Setting the mood with lighting

Add as a preferred source on Google

Lighting illuminates our spaces but it can also influence our emotions. Setting the mood with lighting choices is one way we can make an event more special. Candelabras are holders with multiple arms. They are often called chandeliers and we may see these in entrance halls or over dining tables. They used smaller bulbs for each arm, but together the number of arms can provide a bright light. These fixtures by themselves lend a certain mood to an area. The choice of bulb is another way we can influence the mood these lighting fixtures create.

Here are some great ideas for candelabra bulbs to make our next event special.

These bulbs are crystal clear and torpedo shaped. Each bulb is seven watts and 120 volts. They have an average life of about 1500 hours. These work well in many fixtures, including window candelabras. These bulbs will give a bright light which can offer an uplifted excitement to our event.
These are silicone dipped candelabra bulbs. They are 7 watt and 120 volts. The silicone creates an authentic candle-like shape as if the bulb is a flame. This will work with any base E12 candelabra. While we might put these in the classic window lamp, they could also make quite a spectacular look to a multiple-light dining fixture and give an old-world appeal to an event.
These E12 bulbs are clear with a flame-shaped tip. Their lighting element creates a flickering effect as if they are an actual flame. They are 1 watt, 120 volt. This lower light will make a great flame-like look for window lamps, but also could create a great authentic look for larger candelabras. The lower light of these bulbs can create a soft and romantic setting.
These bent tipped clear bulbs are 7 watt, 120 volt, E12 style bulbs. The light is clear without flickering and the shape of the bulb gives a candle-like look without special effects. These are great for a classic look to a candelabra whether in a window or overhead. The clear and non-moving light will make a bright strong illumination which is perfect for those events we want clear lighting.
These holders are a great way to secure window lamps. They have a strong suction cup to hold the lamp to the window. They are perfect if we have a narrow sill or for those windows with no sill at all. These can work with single or multiple bulb window lamps. They are a great way to make the lamp stable and create a festive look.

These candelabra light bulbs can really make a statement and add a fun or mysterious flare to the essential lighting of an event. Having plenty on hand to change the bulbs if they burn out is a great idea to keep the mood from fading.
