Setting the mood with lighting

Lighting illuminates our spaces but it can also influence our emotions. Setting the mood with lighting choices is one way we can make an event more special. Candelabras are holders with multiple arms. They are often called chandeliers and we may see these in entrance halls or over dining tables. They used smaller bulbs for each arm, but together the number of arms can provide a bright light. These fixtures by themselves lend a certain mood to an area. The choice of bulb is another way we can influence the mood these lighting fixtures create.

This lower light will make a great flame-like look for window lamps, but also could create a great authentic look for larger candelabras. These bent tipped clear bulbs are 7 watt, 120 volt, E12 style bulbs. The light is clear without flickering and the shape of the bulb gives a candle-like look without special effects. These are great for a classic look to a candelabra whether in a window or overhead. The clear and non-moving light will make a bright strong illumination which is perfect for those events we want clear lighting.

These holders are a great way to secure window lamps. They have a strong suction cup to hold the lamp to the window. They are perfect if we have a narrow sill or for those windows with no sill at all. These can work with single or multiple bulb window lamps. They are a great way to make the lamp stable and create a festive look.
