Encouraging our kids who are interested in playing percussion instruments is a wise idea. Many children are attracted to the sharp sounds and rhythmic nature of these instruments and this can be a first step into the wider world of becoming a musician. We will want to make sure that we have the space for this type of instrument since the sounds they make are distinct and typically loud  With the right practice place, percussion instruments can be a great choice for a child.
