Essentials for cleaning out the closets

Cleaning out the closets is an important task we need to undertake frequently so we don’t become overwhelmed with excess stuff. These essential items will help pack up the unwanted things once we have weeded out what we don’t need. Some things we will want to pack up for later use, but other things we may want to give away to thrift or sell at our own garage sale. No need to wait til spring for this cleaning because any time of year is a great time to get rid of the excess.

When we are packing things up in boxes, either for storage or for the garage sale, we will want to clearly label things. This great set of paints will work on all surfaces, whether wood, canvas, or paper. We can also use them to label items with our name so they will come back after being borrowed.

There is no doubt that we will need some packing tape in order to seal up those boxes. This six roll set will make sure that we have enough for the whole job. This is a stronger 2.7 mil heavy duty tape that will hold up to a box filled with heavy things. Great for shipping as well as storage.

A great idea for boxing items whether for storage, moving, or the garage sale is to keep meticulous notes. This portfolio binder will let us record the information we will want to have when we are trying to remember what we put into each box. It has a zipper so that any loose paper or pens will stay with the binder. The great looking PU leather will hold up well.

When it comes to actually having a garage sale a counterfeit bill detector is an essential item. Without it we are just guessing as to whether the cash we are receiving is the real deal or whether we are being given something false. Easy to use and works perfectly. Comes in a pack of six so that all the helpers can make sure of the money they are receiving.

Now that we have cleaned out the closets and sold all our excess in that garage sale, it is time to reward ourselves. How about a trip?
