I have a very dry scalp and dandruff is an issue to me no matter what hair product I use. Every time I wash my hair I massage my scalp with my hands so this product is very useful to me. I can use it without tiring my hands and the handle grip is nice. Doesnt slip from my hands when it’s wet and doesn’t hurt my palm /fingers. The brush is soft and sturdy enough to massage my scalp without hurting it. I’ve been using this massager for a few days now and I noticed less dandruff too. Absolutely love this!

I LOVE this scalp massager! I have another one that was similar in price that did not work as well and actually scratched my scalp. This looks sharp but it is incredibly soft and durable. It glides through my thick, curly hair. It does a really nice job with not only distributing product but also help with removing flakes from my scalp. I have bad seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and this has really helped clear and maintain my scalp from flakes along with my medicated shampoo. This feels so good on my scalp and even though the prongs look sharp and pointy, they are incredibly gentle. This is a really great product and it would be really good for someone who deals with dandruff, psoriasis, or someone who wants an extra clean scalp. I’ve been using mine for about three months now and I will always use this product.

I’ve purchased 4 of these for myself and others as gifts and it’s a haircare game changer. My scalp condition improved within 5 washes and I no longer have a dry, itchy, sensitive scalp. I have hair down my back and it doesn’t tangle. I also use less shampoo and conditioner. If you oil scalp this is also great. I’m a little embarrassed to admit (but you can wash it no problem) that I plan on using it in my Aussies with thick double coats during bath time. It’s so gentle it would be perfect on newborn scalps and older kids who are learning to thoroughly and properly cleanse themselves. I mean we all know that kid or tween with greasy hair haha! The last thing I’d like everyone to know is that it’s much less work to clean my scalp and my manicure stays nice!

This was kind of an impulse buy for me. I don’t remember how I even started looking at it. Maybe my expectations were too high because of some of the higher reviews. I love having my head massaged or my hair brushed/washed by someone else. This tool has a comfortable level of pressure on the scalp, but I find it only slightly better than using my own nails to scrub my scalp during a shower. I leave it accessible in the shower but after the first few days I did not find myself picking it up. No complaints, it just didn’t have enough of a sensation to keep my interest to add to a daily routine. I’ll probably use it every once in awhile.

Many of the reviews complain that the bristles are too soft for scalp massage, and that is by design! The intended purpose of this brush is to apply shampoo evenly, while using less product, with a gentle massaging effect to stimulate hair follicles. If the bristles were stiffer, you'd run the risk of breaking and damaging your hair considering hair stretches immensely when wet. Scalp massagers are entirely different products, usually made out of metal wires with soft tips.

This shampoo brush is a godsend for me. I wash my long hair only once or twice per week with sulfate-free shampoo, so when I do wash it, I need to really focus on my scalp to remove dirt and oil. Before using this brush, I would occasionally develop patches of eczema on my scalp near the nape of my neck, despite my chemical-free routine. I knew I needed to find a way to effectively cleanse my scalp without using my fingernails to scrub during the shampoo process, which is so bad for your skin.

I've been using this brush for a couple months and I've had no further eczema outbreaks on my scalp, and I've used significantly less shampoo as this brush distributes it more evenly. I suggest being very aware of HOW you use it, as it's possible to cause ridiculous tangles if used incorrectly. A circular motion is fine for each section of your head, just take it slow and try to comb through your hair with the brush as you're shampooing.
