Warm Glove!

I purchased this thinsulate glove for backpacking in cold temperatures. My goal was not "poofy" big gloves while hiking, but just something for taking the chill off and yet allowing some capacity to use my fingers for pack adjustments, etc. I will be bringing them with me to India and the Himalayas for trekking this summer. They should be perfect. One issue I noticed is that the stitching on the left thumb shows the white layer beneath. As long as it doesn't wear and tear there, I should be OK. Another reviewer commented on the same thing. I'm hopeful the fabric holds. They are incredibly warm gloves and the perfect size for me. I will write a new review after our trip!

Goldilocks gloves -- just right!

I wanted gloves that were not too thick, but still warm for driving up to campus during these cold mornings. These gloves fit the bill. The Thinsulate material and the fabric itself make the fit snug and warm. Great product!

I like these gloves. I especially like that I was able to get a pair for under 6 bucks. Now these are knit gloves. They are not waterproof or windproof. I probably won't use them to shovel snow or engage in a snowball fight. I do wear them for my daily walks and they have kept my hands warm in temps in the mid 20's. I also use them when going to the store. These gloves are very soft and I like the way they feel on my hands when I wear them.

I bought them for warmth and price. Scored high on both counts. Do not buy them for stickiness in the grip ... they are yarn. These are my second pair. I have worn them as mitten liners, and as a single layer. They work well in both instances.

I only rated this product 3 stars b/c there is a hole in the knitting on the L.H. glove that could have & should have been noticed before shipping. It is located at the base of the thumb finger on the backhand side & is immediately noticeable as it is approximately 3/16 " in diameter. The hole is not through the inner insulation though, & that is the reason why I decided to not send them back. It's just not worth the hassle for me or the seller. Otherwise, they appear to be very warm & comfortable. The cost was still very acceptably low. I'd recommend to buy.
