Strong pigmentation means this paint can be easily seen in daylight and glows brightly under UV or blacklight.

FOR BEST RESULTS
1. Make sure to shake the paints thoroughly before use, as the glowing pigments may settle to the bottom of the container.
2. We recommend using a white primer undercoat with at least two (or more) layers of the luminous paint to achieve the desired effect.
3. Place near a UV, blue, or blacklight for instant activation.
4. For outdoor use, we also recommend a white primer undercoat, as well as a clear finishing topcoat.

Good for bodypainting Go Go dancers
I was asked to help body paint go go dancers for a glow in the dark charity event, and then to paint attendees for donations. So, I needed some body paint fast, that glowed and had options. I LOVED the face that there were a bunch of colors to pick from. I however wished there were larger containers of paint that came with this set. This paint is water soluble, which is great if it gets on clothing or needs to be wiped/cleaned off an area. I do wish this paint spread smoother. You really have to kind of work with it, with a black light to get what you want and to see how the effect will look. I did however like the results at the end of it all and would probably use them again, especially due to the pricing for that many colors. And, I did have left over paint when the night was done. I didn't have to use it all. There are some colors that felt brighter in the black light scenario than others, the purple being the weakest of the bunch. The yellow, orange and white being the strongest. I have included some pics from the event when I was painting go-go dancers, and a picture of the set under the black light, showing all of the colors and how they look in reality.

Used this item for a Kids camp glow party, on both black and white shirt, and love the way they light up!! These paints are UV light activated, they are not glow in the dark (or charged by light then retain and emit glow) paints. You have to have a continuous UV light source for them to glow. Some reviews mention that “I put them in the sun for hours but no glow”, that is not how UV paint works. These are bright and amazing of both light and dark backgrounds, the more layers applied obviously the brighter they glow in UV light (not sun light UV rays, a UV light bulb!). I have not washed them yet, so I am not sure how well they stay on afterwards, but if you are looking for a fun and super bright (at least one time) party effect, these are awesome!! Again, they may make it through the washer, but I can’t testify to that as of yet. We used IV light while painting the shirts to help see how it is looking as in normal light the colors appear a lot more sheer, especially on the dark material, and because it was also a lot of fun for my daughter and I. Definitely worth the money!!

The over all colors are nice in the light and brilliant under black light, however once you turn off the black light the illumination is greatly diminished. Remember the little disclaimers on the commercials for all the toys that glowed in the dark in the 80s? “filmed using black light” that’s kinda how I feel about how this product. I should have changed the setting of the low light feature of the camera to more accurately reflect how it looked without the black light. That being said I’ll still use it for items that will be under a UV light and look for something else that will not be.

This paint is very odd and causes un even coverage. It's a thick odd texture think spoiled milk with chucks... also some colors have different pebbles of color so as you are painting these pebbles will burst on your project and level it with streaks of other colors.. so my purple for example had pink and blue little pebbles so my projects had streaks of blue and pink where I had wanted a solid purple. Most of the colors had this... and the thick texture when it dries it leaves a uneven look of color. Also a minor detail buy the main selling point to this paint.. it doesn't glow. It says to paint it 3-4 layers and charge under light... I did 5 layers, and charged it 24 hrs... still uneven appears and it didn't glow at all. Not worth the purchase for several reasons but worst for me is the appearance looking like a child painted it.
