It was time for my 4 year old son to upgrade from his toddler bed to a twin size mattress. He loves sleeping in our bed which is a top of the line sleep number (which are completely over rated). He loves memory foam. We had a 1" memory foam topper on his toddler mattress just to make his bed more comfortable so he would sleep in his bed all night. When it was time to get a new mattress I looked into memory foam mattresses. I looked at a lot of them. Tempurpedic was outragously priced for what it is. After a lot of comparison I settled on this mattress. I comes with a 20 year warranty. If there is sagging, it comes with instructions on how to take measurements and they will replace it. I figured I had nothing to lose with the 4 month sleep trial. We could always return it if my son didn't like it.
It arrived in a good size box. It was rolled up and vacuum sealed. When I first took it out of the box I felt a little deceived because it was just vacuumed packed so flat. I was thinking how is this thing a real mattress. I was so worried that I was getting only some 6" thick foam mattress. I cut the plastic open and rolled it out on the floor. There was no odor at all that I am all to familiar with from other memory foam products. It puffed right up in front of my eyes. Its a real mattress! Its just as thick as a normal mattress. I breathed a sigh of relief. This mattress is very well made. The cover is well stitched, the zipper works well. Its a lot nicer than i expected. I layed on it right there on the floor. OMG, it felt so good. I was shocked at how supportive it was. I didn't really sink down that far. The top is very soft memory foam but the core is very supportive foam. It was heavier than i expected. It has a zippered cover, you can see the different layers of foam inside.
I put it on my son's red corvette bed. It fit great. It's just as tall as any other normal size mattress. He loves his new bed! He says its so comfy. I can now lay in bed with him when i put him to sleep and I end up falling asleep in there too. Its that comfortable. As for the 4 month trial, its no longer needed. We are keeping it. My son has been sleeping awesome in it and has pretty much stopped coming to our room at night. I would highly recommend this mattress to those who are on the fence about it. Its reasonably priced. The 20 year warranty gave me serious piece of mind. You melt into that top layer of memory foam and the support foam just cradles your body. Its heavenly.

By some super human magic
The Arrival:When the mattress arrived, I was a bit confused. I said to myself "there's no way that a king size mattress can fit in that box". I was afraid it was the wrong product. I can see a mattress topper fitting in there but an actual mattress? No way!Turns out, I was wrong. By some super human magic, this huge mattress was packed completely flat and rolled up. That's was pretty awesome to see. Still, I was skeptical that it would end up being as thick as I was expecting. More voodoo! As soon as I sliced open the outer plastic, the mattress instantly puffed up. Perhaps i'm easy to amuse but I got quite a kick out of it.As someone who is very familiar with memory foam, I was fully expecting a funky smell. There's something about vacuum sealing that leaves a stench. It normally dissipates within a hour or so but this time, there was absolutely no smell, whatsoever!The experience:I've been using the mattress since June 2nd (the day it arrived). Right off the bat, the bed was (and still is) Amazing! My wife and I already had a memory foam mattress that was okay, but I am a big guy so I typically would sink to the box spring a lot. With this mattress, I don't even come close to the box spring! The soft to firm ratio was perfect right out of the box!I believe everyone's first concern when buying a new mattress is that it usually takes some time for your back to adjust, which can leave you with a few days of poor sleep. Thank goodness that this was not the case with this mattress. I slept better on night one than I had in years with my old mattress. Granted, I even with my years of severe back pain, I have slept more comfortably in this bed than any bed I have ever owned. I feel like it perfectly supports my entire back and keeps me aligned through the night.The even better news is that the bed just got more comfortable with time. Like I said before, I am a big guy (300+ lbs.). You would think that with that much weight the bed wouldn't bounce back as well. Well, you would be wrong! Every time I get into bed there are no dips or sags. It is probably best, like with all mattresses, to rotate it periodically but so far I haven't felt the need. I really believe that this bed can do no wrong!Final thoughts:I am extremely happy with my purchase. I no longer have pain in my body and I sleep like a log. According to my wife, I don't snore like I used to. I chalk that up to finally being able to sleep soundly - which allows her to sleep soundly too. I wake up refreshed and ready to take on whatever the day has in store. Hands down, the best investment I've ever made!

Thank goodness that this was not the case with this mattress. I slept better on night one than I had in years with my old mattress. I feel like it perfectly supports my entire back and keeps me aligned through the night.
