This light is bad for your animals eyes, try not to shine it near them! My cat thought it was a game to chase the light. When dark in room, shows an alarming amount of what I hope is not all markings … other substances show up under this light… such as Human male dried marks (gross! Yes clean sheets) also dried washed marks from previous cat urination. This light also showcases lint and nail polish and essential oil fresheners apparently show up too.. as I can’t believe there would be urine markings on the ceiling. Works only with dark room. Does not work during the day time.

We adopted a neighborhood cat, he lived in the area a couple of years with a neighbor that moved and left the cat behind for us to care for ( the cat owns us ). We knew he had sprayed somewhere in the house. This blacklight LED lamp arrived today. Even during daylight, but with blinds closed we quickly realized how gross the cat had been marking in an embarrassing number of places. This evening after dark, we went on another hunt for gross piddle marks. WOW they stand out really clear. OK, so somethings show up that are not piddles, like my wife's white socks, but it's easy to see what's spray. Totally gross, we used most of a tub of Chlorox wipes all around the house. The lamp does a really good job of finding a really grotty stream of cat piddles. Highly recommend this lamp. I'm considering buying a few and giving them as gifts to friends and family - just what they need to make their day too :)

I could smell it and washed a lot of different places. The urine must be dry and it must be dark in the room when using. It worked okay, and it was worth the money.

OMG. I tuned off all my lights and it looked just like a crime scene with the flashlight. And I clean with Clorox products especially my guest toilet. Obviously the man I had dated did not have good aim. I cleaned that first with the spray and then turned the lights off and again used the flashlight and almost all of the pee was gone. You can tell exactly where you’ve missed while cleaning. Then I went to my long rug in the hall where my little dog has had a few accidents. Turned off the lights, flashlight again and dear God it was everywhere, little spots, big spots, lines, designs, bright yellow everywhere. I thought maybe I should throw it away right then but decided to use the spray on it in the dark and it just disappears! It’s so much fun to use and would be a great idea to use the flashlight in a house before you buy it to see what’s on your carpet. Also shows stuff everywhere else so plan to spend the rest of your day cleaning areas you never knew had ultra violet stains. Game changer product for sure.
